About Ozempic
What is Ozempic?
Ozempic is a prescription GLP-1 medication containing semaglutide, FDA-approved to improve blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes alongside diet and exercise. It also slows digestion and reduces appetite โ which is why clinicians may consider it for weight management when medically appropriate.
See if you qualify โHow it works
How does Ozempic work?
Ozempic mimics the GLP-1 hormone your body naturally produces. It helps the pancreas release insulin when blood sugar is high, slows gastric emptying, and signals fullness to the brain โ supporting both glycemic control and appetite regulation under clinician supervision.
