About Wegovy
What is Wegovy?
Wegovy is a prescription GLP-1 medication containing semaglutide, FDA-approved for chronic weight management. It mimics a natural hormone that helps regulate appetite and food intake — supporting gradual, medically supervised weight loss when combined with lifestyle changes and ongoing clinician oversight.

How does Wegovy work?
Wegovy activates GLP-1 receptors to slow gastric emptying, reduce appetite signals, and help you feel fuller sooner. It is not a stimulant — it works with your biology under clinician supervision.
